Somerset Hills Kennel Club regrets our first-ever cancellation.
The Park was closed due to flooding in order to protect the safety of people and pets.
Club officials have received numerous inquiries about the possibility of a refund of entry fees to exhibitors. It is unlikely that there will be refunds because there were numerous expenses incurred despite the cancellation of the show. Coupled with the heavy losses of our usual show income, that is likely to result in very little profit, if any, or a net loss.
However, if there are to be refunds, they will be processed through the superintendent, MB-F.We are very sympathetic to the fact that exhibitors, handlers, show photographers, vendors and caterers, to name only a few, have also suffered financially because of the unfortunate cancellation of the shows of the North Branch Cluster. We look forward to the 2012 shows and the beautiful weather we typically enjoy, and we hope you will join us then.
